This takes part of an old school project, whose' s goal was to explore a from above perspective.
I decided to draw Koi fishes because of their strong representation of fortune, abundance and good luck! I divided the drawing in half by using watercolors for a dreamy and ethereal aesthetic, and black and white to create a fun contrast with strictly 2 opposite colors.
